A safe deposit robbery turns out to the fiasko: The bandits succeed in stealing the gold but the head of the gang, Mendoza (Claudio Camaso), called "Professor", dies. Short time on it five gangsters tortured Ricky (Alberto dell'Acqua), a further gang member, to death; the gold disappears. Joe Barrett (Richard Harrison), which people only call Rocco, likewise involved in the safe deposit robbery, wants revenge and naturally the money back. He makes himself on the hunt for the five murderers, in order to present to everyone a piece of the cord, with which the poor Ricky was murdered. Together with a piece of lead, understands itself.

The Gunslinger says:

A dark revenge-movie of Antonio Magheriti ("Anthony M. Dawson") from the year 1968 with an unusual showdown in a sulfur mine, where the upper rogue withdrew himself. The atmosphere is hopelessly; the cemetery in miserable nests, like Tuxedo or Pasadena, is the "only place, where work is still going on. Rocco however experiences a change by the unexpected allowance of the bar dancer Miss Jane ("Sheyla Rosin"). Finally he even doesn't show any interest in the gold and he hands it over the Pinkerton detective McTiger. Good Score of Carlo Savina.

Explicit brutalities:

- Ricky is divided into its individual parts by the five gangsters after the mandatory question time: That is meant literal!

- Suburb rogue "The Kid" (Werner Pochath) sends Rocco a treatment, for which Giuliano Gemma is suited actually: bound in stout sun with "Eyes wide open" ;-). But Kid unfortunately forgets, that genuine men can pull their gun not only halfblindly, but also with both hands directly well.

Love:

Jane falls in love with Rocco. It's a kind of surprise, because she had rather preferred  Rocco's opponents before: 2/10
