The gunslingers Johnny West (Mark of Damon) and Goofo (John Ireland) save two Mexican horse thieves from the strand.
To the thanks the two take part Johnny in the hunt for four gold crates, which the Mexican gang of Carranza (Fernado Sancho)
robbed and hid. The small troop is joined by the indian Copperface, his greedy wife Maria and Goofo. The search becomes success,
but Carranza is extremely successful too getting back the gold. Very amazingly, because Carranza is as fat as stooooopid.
Anyhow all treasure hunters up to Goofo lose their gold again to the Mexicans and most in addition still their life. Together
Johnny and Goofo try to steal he gold crates again from Carranza, but both pursue different goals.
The Gunslinger says:
Good and humorous Spaghetti-Western made by Umberto Lenzi in 1967. History remains excitingly, also owing to
the two leading actors, who betray themselves with the gold search again and again. Good music score of Marcello Giombini.
